I work collaboratively with nonprofits and public agencies on projects that have some combination of strategy, communications, fundraising, and coalition building. I spend a lot of time with organizations that protect land, create parks, steward land, and connect people to nature.
Sometimes I’m a contractor because I am hired to create, launch, and lead a project. Sometimes I’m a consultant because I’m hired for my thinking, ideas, and advice. Sometimes I produce, organize, convene, and connect ideas of my own. And sometimes I do some combination of the above.
I am inspired by Seth Godin’s take on the world and his approach definitely influences my work, especially related to marketing, communications, and fundraising. Listen to this podcast and read his blog to learn more about him.
